UPDATE 13/03/2023 We sold 97 goody bags which totalled £970 donated to the DEC Turkey-Syria earthquake appeal.

Watching the devastation unfold from the Turkey & Syria earthquakes kicked my fundraising idea into action.

Roughly every 6months we donate charity bags to the local community. We have a clear out of the stock room, bag up random things that can be used for Raffles and Tombola.

Then we post on social media we have say 10 available and usually within a few hours they are gone.

This gave me the idea to do a goody bag but charge for it and to do the scale I wanted to I needed to ask for help. Originally I was thinking if I could sale x20 at £10 then we would raise £200 for the Disaster Emergency committee. I asked my lovely agent and suppliers if anyone would be happy to donate anything! I’ve been overwhelmed with the donations of support and put it this way we’ve been able to make more than 20bags.

Each bag has at least 4 Greeting cards which are worth £10 alone! Then a mixture of gifts.

This is a complete mix of gifts as we’ve had donated chocolate, bath & body items, notebooks, hair accessories, sunglasses, sun hats, scarves, shopping bags, purses, jewellery!

We also have a small selection of bags which include lots of greeting cards ideal to cover Children’s parties if you have young children be sure to snap one of these up.

A small selection of Christmas bags will also be up for grabs.

These bags will launch online for sale Sunday 5th March. They can be posted or select click and collect from store.

They will be ready for collection Tuesday 7th March.

*Please note - some items in the goody bags we stock instore. No attempt to gain a refund will be accepted at any point.

Fingers crossed to raising lots of money for this wonderful charity.
