Gromit Unleashed
Led by Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and Aardman Animations, Gromit Unleashed is a public art exhibition in which giant sculptures of Gromit, decorated by invited artists, have been unleashed on the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area.
Chipping Sodbury were Invited to apply for a Gromit as we had been heavily involved with WOW Gorilla in the summer 2011 so Sodbury Chamber of Commerce were super excited to become involved with this project. Unfortunately we couldn’t raise the funds that were needed to have a Gromit put in place in Chipping Sodbury.

The next closet Gromit to Chipping Sodbury is Hawksbury upton at The Beaufort Arms, the Gromit will be there for 10 weeks from 1st july-8th septemeber.
There is still a Buzz in Chipping Sodbury about the Gromit Trial with lots of people talking about the new places they have been, we at swagger have always stocked a small about of Wallace & Gromit Products from ECP Designs which have become even more popular for us now.
This includes mugs, Egg Cups and the ever so popular Dinky Tins pictured below.
We wish this amazing summer trail ever success as the end of the art trail, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital Charity.
I have seen many pictures of the Gromit’s and I think my favourite so far has to be the Cath Kidston Gromit so I will be sure to visit The Mall Cribs Causeway ASAP…
